Meet the founder
Michaela McGriff
Founder • Success Academy
Michaela McGriff is a North Carolina certified educator with more than 12 years of experience in education. She saw a need for underrepresented children to receive support that recognizes their strengths and responds to how they learn.
Success Academy grew from that purpose: to offer differentiated, sometimes unconventional instruction that meets each learner where they are.
In her classroom experience, Michaela reports that students from varied backgrounds performed above state averages on standardized English Language Arts assessments. That experience strengthened her belief that meaningful growth is possible when educators are willing to adapt their approach.
